Workshop for high school students toward finding jobs and wellness
If you know high school students who are struggling to find summer jobs, encourage them to register for Monday’s workshop on resume preparation, Interview skills and resiliency. The workshop is free to students and their supporters, and is facilitated by Monica Lim and Sabina Kafarov of YMCA of Greater Toronto, University of British Columbia’s Agenda Gap, and Omar Goodgame from EveryMind Mental Health Services. The event is planned and organized by students participating in Agenda Gap. The program is a pilot project of UBC that helps teens understand the connection between policy and mental health, and their power to make change. Register now — spots are limited.
