In 2023, Erin Mills Connects asked stakeholders (students, caregivers, teachers, residents and municipal leaders) their thoughts and feelings on mental health regarding children, youth, post-secondary pathway resources, and caregivers.
The data collection strategy (in-person and online surveys) included analyzing long-form answers for underlying sentiments and categorizing themes and concerns by various factors such as gender identification, culture, neighborhood, and role.
Thank you to the community for its support. EMC’s Steering Committee is using this survey to anticipate program needs and create new strategies to promote positive mental health of children, youth and families. The report is available HERE.
