A New Cohort for Agenda Gap is starting in November for High School Students

High School Students are invited to apply for the 5th Cohort of Agenda Gap that teaches youth to speak out for their needs. Facilitated by the University of British Columbia, and local youth leaders, the program will begin in November on a date and time decided by participants. This is a free program supported by UBC and Planet Youth Mississauga to teach youth about upstream prevention, public speaking, social determinants of health, mental health resources and more. The Icelandic Prevention Model is being implemented in Mississauga.

Throughout the globe, the Icelandic Prevention Model (IPM) has been heralded as a sustainable solution to improve mental health and reduce substance use among youth.
